OsteoProbe® RUO是在体测量骨组织材料性质的**仪器,是实验室和临床研究中测量骨质量的有力工具。OsteoProbe® RUO是一种便携式单手操作微压痕仪,与测量骨密度的放射性方法(X射线、DXA和CT)具有不同的原理,它使用参考点压痕技术来检测材料对局部压力的抵抗性。

应用范围:

 

OsteoProbe® RUO可测量骨组织的材料性质,有助于加深对骨量的认识。骨由矿物质和有机物(骨胶)组成,现有的技术只有提供有关矿物质的信息,关于有机物的信息很少。由于缺少在体测量方法,临床研究中难以得到骨的材料性质,参考点压痕技术则解决了这一难题,使得研究人员可以测量和监测骨量的改变。

 

 

OsteoProbe® RUO measures and quantifies material properties of bone, providing a clearer understanding of Bone Quality. Bone is composed of mineral and organic (Bone Glue) building blocks. Current techniques provide detailed information about the mineral aspect but we suffer from limited information about the organic. Learn more about Bone Quality.

In the clinical setting, material properties of Bone Quality have been ignored due to the lack of a method for in vivo measurement. Reference Point Indentation (RPI) is a technique bringing change to the current situation in a clinical research setting. RPI enables researchers to have an in vivo method for directly measuring material aspects of bone quality. With RPI, researchers can measure and monitor longitudinal changes in the material quality of bone.
